What did you do that makes the Gradient Map 1 layer give a red color to the image? I tried making a Gradient Map but just makes the picture black and white.

this is great! im trying to get the hang of photoshop and i have to ask, how did you learn to pick such realistic colors? ~lots of refrence and color picking, how exactly?

To be honest, my colors evolve from the beginning to the start. It's hard to say. With that said. Whenever I find a color I like, I save it as a palette in PS.
