A couple late nights trying out some new textures I shot. I'm not sure about the text being there but I need something to fill in the space a little.A bit cliched I know, but it was more of a practicing technique thing than anything else!
Suggestions always welcome!

damn fine pic, i prefer it without the text tho, it distracts my eye from all the wonderful detail you got going on in the top, also, if it were removed, it makes the bottom a lot calmer as apposed to the detailed top, so it creates a balance. Either way tho, its a great pic, great colour too.

I think it would look better without the framing and typo, but hey, apart of that and regarding to what the real image is, I think you did a great job in the upper part with all the things coming from the crane, it looks real

with all my EARNEST RESPECT for your art, I think that gradient is just not doing any good on this one.
I think a darker red on the top left would help it allot.
Textures are working just fine though
Text is actually very nicely placed. Could get a couple of nudges towards right perhaps.

There could be, I do live in a desert!
I recently took a visit to a medical school where my mother in law is attending and they allowed me to photograph a real skeleton that resided in a case which they opened, so I didn't get glare in the pics! Very cool!
