Last time I checked there was this cool, red lighting surrounding him. Where did it go? I didn't see anything wrong with the old lighting.

The eyes and shoes are way too shiny, you might want to try toning down the environment map on them.
I know this is an old render, but keep it in mind for future rendering.
Apart from that, it looks pretty decent.
