Description
After an exhausting day even Dash needs some rest.Made this mainly for practice purposes, and defenitively learned alot while working on it ^^
(especially that it is way easier working with slightly desaturated colors first, and giving it the right kick later on m
Slapped also a slight lomo effect ontop of it cuz it's awesome

I love the colour choices in this, and the subtle details. The lens-flare I didn't even notice at first glance, so thats great. the moss on the trees and rocks has great texture, as does Dashie's fur. Clearly a lot o effort went on the grass, and it really helps create a complete image. and remembering the fading of the mountains for perspective is done subtly, which is good, it blends into the rest of the piece better.
Things I would say to look at; the clouds seems to be "avoiding" the foliage, so perhaps I would say draw them continuing behind it. The rocks are good, but perhaps a little more grey/light blue hues would help, but that's a small matter of preference... Lastly Dashie's ear looks a little... flat? Some more detail/shading of the fur there like on her chest would really help I think.
Overall a very good piece, it really fills me with that "warm summer afternoon" nostalgia, and the effort that went into it is definitely apparent, creating plenty of detail for the eye. something I can definitely look at for a while, great work e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="

Don't worry abot those things.
This is all just a question of practice, not talent. Like one year ago I would've thought the same and would never have believed that I'm able to draw such things.
Just keep practicing and have courage to experiment.
