Description
He was thrown from heaven for the crime of loving a woman, a human woman. Tossed down and left behind he fell from Grace. Yet, he felt it was worth it.** I hand created the wings (as I mentioned before) I added rendered lights and that's pretty much it! I really hope you enjoy **

I made a brush with feathers a while ago. I have a LOT of feathers around my house and I took random pictures of them. I need to go back and take more with feathers going upside down because that's where the rub has been.
After that, I carefully put them in place with the brush till I got the look I was looking for. Each feather and each spot in the wings and then the "fallen feathers" as well.
Does that help? I can point you to a tutorial that teaches you how to make your own brushes if you'd like.

Ahh, I use Photoshop CS4. I got the tutorials from a Photoshop Tutorial site. I can send you to GIMP which uses the same concepts but is freeware and there are other kinds of things as well.
