Description I started creating this as part of my "homework" *grin* Anyways, I've been working on my drawing. It could still use some work. I'm absolutely sure of it but.. I'm really proud of how it looks.

No references were used.. I literally just threw this together.

I have "homework" nightly because a few of my friends are convincing me that I can draw, but that I never give myself the chance to believe it. So.. I have to draw nightly to test it. I get different themes to practice with. I'm not planning to show all of them but I really loved how this one turned out so I wanted to share it. I was originally going to try brass but the gold looked so much better.. I am still not 100% happy with the work but I am very proud of myself.

cool you've "homework" nightly because of your friends convincing you that you can draw. They are right you can draw. That's awesome you get different themes to test it with.
That's okay you don't show them all. That's great to hear you really loved how this one turned out and that you really wanted to share it .
Awesome you was originally going for brass color. Both are beautiful colors if you ask me.
You should be very proud of yourself it's totally awesome how you've created this.

They've had me working everyday. Not always digitally but I draw something daily. I'm kinda proud of myself because I keep going. *smiles* Some of them I'd have to scan and I hate scanning things..

Wow they have had you working everyday, that are a lot of days.
That's good that it isn't always digital.
You should be that indeed, it's great to keep up with something.
I understand you hate scanning things. It doesn't always work so well, because it sometimes can loose color.

Thanks.. I've been trying to teach myself to digital paint.. I think I should have maybe painted an industrial place in the background but.. I really just went with "can I do this" and to my surprise it's not as terrible as I was imagining.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I just draw traditionally and go over it digitally. My hands shake a lot so it makes it hard to just draw digitally. I'm sure you'll improve!
