...My 2nd real attempt at Mr. Baggins. I am not completely satisfied with the result, but it is my favorite piece with him that I've drawn thus far.11+ hours, mechanical pencil, graphite F and 3B, hue changed with photoshop

I would go through maybe 5 cases of those things... I'm always snapping the lead off, haha.

I don't remember what I used...so probably mechanical pencil and something darker for the shading.

I like the haunting mood of this picture: makes it so much better than the drawings I've seen of him so far. And it looks exactly like him too! Brilliant!

People are tough to draw, that is certain. But it would be boring if everyone was good at them. I have seen your animal pictures--they are truly amazing. Now I wish I could do that.

Trust me, spend a long enough time blending and it is quite possible to get things blurry.

Whenever i try to do that i end up with big black splodge where my drawing used to be - so i just pin it up in the name of abstract and continue drawing in my juvenile ways.
