Description
This drawing was a welcomed relief from the few other projects I have half completed right now. It's not a perfect replica of the reference, nor was it supposed to be. Even so, I like it.Thanks so much to *xxmemorabilia who permitted me to use a reference from her gallery [link] She has some amazing captures of horses, so I highly recommend taking a look!

I think it would take me 100 years to make the shadow look that good. Great work!

I've been putting off having this as my favourite horse pic mostly because of the copyright logo and name branded across the image.
I haven't found anything to equal with your horse's glorious shape and wonderful lines, so I'll be adding it soon.
Admittedly it's barely perceptible in pre-zoom mode, but it's still a bit off-putting. When I'm browsing my favourites gallery I sometimes like to click on the image inorder to re-view the larger version, but when you've got copyrights plastered all over the image it kind of puts me off.

I have little reason to trust people, as DA equine artists seem to deal with art theft quite often. Therefore a copyright ensures that my hard work belongs solely to me. It's an unfortunate means to an end, I suppose.
I'm sorry that you find the copyright a blemish. I am not fond of it myself, but I always strive to see past the logo when regarding a piece of work.

Well, I've gone and added it. My favourites gallery wouldn't have been my favourites gallery without an exceptional horse or two.

Your horses always amaze me.
How long have you been drawing them?

Horses were my first love growing up, so as soon as I could hold a pencil, I drew horses. I went through a few years more recently when I never drew anything horse related, but it's fun to come back to it.
Thanks for the comment!

Great job! Your horse pictures are always awesome! You're drawing yourself quite the "resume"!

"Resume"...heh yeah...if only I could include drawing. Most of the stuffy employers I have met with thus far would not be impressed, however. Thanks for the comment!

Okay, I suppose "resume" is not the best word. How about in your portfolio! (This could be used for you to get a job drawing illustrations, along with others art pieces you have done of people, and in various media.)

If I could get a job illustrating, I would be in heaven. However, I don't even know where to begin with that job market. Anyway, I'm not sure too many employers would be impressed with a biology major.

Awesome job! It does kind of look like the horse is racing its own shadow.

The mane and tail are very realistic in their movement. You have done such a great job.
