The first time I had a friend tell me he meowed, I seriously didn't believe them. Then was dumbfounded after playing all the games at just how . . .~flamboyant~ the plot and characters are. (Greatest gay love story of all time? Yes? Yes. ) Ocelot's my favorite so this is just fantastic. <3 <3 <3

I feel so dumb because every time I try to use Photoshop for digital painting it doesn't work :T I feel like I need someone to like be over my shoulder and help me because I know how to paint with real life paint but not digital :c

^^ It takes a while to learn. The best advice I can give if you're looking to make clean drawings with flat coloring is to have a clean lineart. After that, do a flat coloring on a layer underneath (just choose any color), and then create a clipping mask on that layer (to do that, make a new layer on top and right click to change it into a clipping mask). Once you do that, you can color away on that layer and not have to worry about it going over the lineart, which allows for quick coloring and an easier time experimenting with color, shading, textures, etc.
Basically it should look like this.
-lineart layer
-clipping mask attached to flat color layer
-flat color layer
