Just a quick painting I did yesterday evening. The paper was dyed with coffee and I also painted most of it with coffee, though I added a lot of white paint as well. The two mixed surprisingly well. Quite an interesting experiment, though I doubt I'll do it again. At least with coffee.I actually hate the outcome of this, looks so shappy and faint. I wasn't even going to post it at first, but my mom told me I should. And I always listen to my mom!
Will definitely scrap this very soon.This was really hard to post, there's something wrong with my dA. For some reason the scroll bar won't work (among other things). It would have been fine, if it didn't lag something horribly when I tried to use the little arrows. It makes it really hard getting things done on here. I guess I'm just being dumb again, never did quite well with technology...

painting with coffee sounds like a creative and fun idea, gotta try it sometime
the textures in this one is really cool, i also liked the coffee and the white paint mixed together, looks so neat.

Wow! The coffee really makes for a wonderful effect! I can't tell if you did it by painting or if the coffee did it by itself, but the fur looks even more textured, 'specially by the muzzle, which is definitely my favourite part of the pictureβ₯
I sadly have to agree with you that this isn't your best work. That doesn't mean it's anywhere near bad, though! I just love the expression!
I hope you'll get your dA fixed soon, and I definitely hope you'll keep experimenting like this! It's so interesting to see all of these different medias, and how different the paintings turn out to be...

Aww, thank you so much for such a long and wonderful comment! A lot of the texture did come from the coffee, which was very fun. I completely agree that it's far from my best, but after all it was just an experimental speedpaint.
