I really like the overall composition with the flag in the background and all, what I maybe would change is add some contrast to the character cause he seems kind of flat at the moment.
Adding some black to certain areas would make the character stand out more, increase depth and make the image read better,
that is if you're not purposely going for this kind of style in which case everything I've written is completely pointless
