I think yours is better, just don't like the bulb light reflection... have you tried to diffuse the source light?

this one is just a crop from the original stock photo that I mentioned with some simple colorizing. the photo was not taken by me.
maybe I could have tried and cover the bulb reflection in post-processing but this was just a simple idea I had a few years ago.
