Death from Above, in Ten Seconds FlatHere's a patch I had made based on some artwork by Skaleal that I commissioned. I think it's pretty cute.
I actually wanted this one without a velcro backing so that I could get it sewn on an old surplus field jacket I've got, but unfortunately this is Korea, the Land of Not Quite Right, and so they put a velcro backing on it anyway. D'oh.

Hah, I'm under USFK in Korea (somewhat of a non-answer I suppose)-- but this isn't a real patch that I wear around the base, etc. I don't even want to think about what a sergeant major would do if he / she caught me waltzing around with this. Best case scenario:
SGM So-and-So: "YOU! WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT PATCH, SIR?!"
Me: "Er... Hello, Sergeant Major."
SGM So-and-So: "SIR! WOULD YOU MIND EXPLAINING TO ME WHY YOU HAVE A RAINBOW PEGASUS PATCH ON YOUR UNIFORM?"
Me: "Well I--"
SGM So-and-So: "ESPECIALLY SINCE EVERYONE KNOWS THAT FLUTTERSHY IS THE BEST PONY!"
Me: "..."
...And that would be awkward.

Where do you go to get custom patches like that made? I'd put a Brony patch on my old unifrom when I play paintball!

Well for me, there are lots of custom embroidery shops here in lovely Korea.
For you, check the internet-- should be some custom embroidery sites around even if there are no actual embroidery / sewing shops in you area.

Too bad. Back in the day they used to use cartoon characters for mascots and even nose art on planes. I think this is in pretty good keeping but now a days there seems to be a stigma to these shows.
