Kit history: Smokenose's mother had been born into the clan, just like the many generations before him, as had his father. The pair were very normal warriors, although were hesitant to have kits at first. The reason they were hesitant is that on his fathers side there had been cases of blind cats, not something they wanted for their kits. Eventually thought the pair couldn't help themselves from having kits, it was worth the risk. Skip ahead a few months and the very heavily pregnant she-cat by the name of Badgerpelt was sick of being cooped up, so ventured off for a walk into the forest. Whilst out she ended up having her kits, a she and a tom, in a patch of Lavender. Taking the kits back to camp she was greeted by a frantic mate, who soon calmed down upon seeing his kits. The she-cat smelt of Lavender, so she was called Lavenderkit. The tom had a grey muzzle, so was named Smokekit. The pair grew up happily, playing with one another and other kits under the loving watch of their mother and father. After a matter of a couple of months Lavenderkits eyes began to grow cloudy, showing she had developed cataracts. this made Smokekit take it upon himself as her protector and guide.

Apprentice history: When Smokekit hit 6 moons old he knew he would have to separate from his sister. He kne whe was destined to the path of a warrior and she was to be a medicine cat. This upset him a little as he was worried about not being able to help her. When he was training it was clear he was distracted, it didn't take long for his mentor to get it out of him. He explained his worries about his sister and he mentor reminded him that as a warrior he could protect her. This gave the tom a new purpose and love in life, although he would still check in on his sister from time to time. It didn't take long for the tom to earn the right to his warrior ceremony.

Warrior/Medicine Cat history: As a warrior Smokenose was loyal and diligent in his duties. Every day he would make sure he was on a patrol or out hunting, anything he could to help his clan. He would even help the apprentices take care of the elders and check in on the queens and kits in the nursery. He was always busy. His loyalty to his clan has meant he hasn't built many relationships with other warriors in his clan, wanting to focus upon the task in front of him. His relationship with his sister is still strong though.
