Personality: Taranis is a proud stallion, one whom does not take kindly to the challenging of his intent. He is courteous and sweet when it comes to th
e ladies, polite but blunt with other stallions. He has always seen his place as a defender of those whom are weaker or less fortunate. He will share all he has with anyone, unless they try to take advantage. When riled up this stallion has quite the temper, this quiet and placid demeanor seems to disappear into a blind rage of fury. As quickly as his anger comes it goes, and it is never directed at the wrong horses. He does his best to keep it under wraps although sometimes when he’s annoyed it will slip out. This stallion is uptight and feels the need to control almost everything, although this is more out of fear than anything. In summary: He has a calm and collected exterior, despite the anger and fear bubbling beneath his surface. He wants to protect those he cares about or the vulnerable, but don’t try and push him too far.

History: Taranis grew up in his father herd, having a very normal growing up. His mother was loving, but a very nervous mare whom would spook at almost anything. Because of his mothers nervousness he never really got to wander far, which made him curious about the world but also careful. Once he reached a year old his father managed to take him away from his mother, to teach him the ways of the stallion. It was there he was given a job: Protect the herd. This he did alongside his father, taking great pride in this new role. Him and his father chased off many cougars and wolves, although his mother would come and worry over him afterwards. One night however there was a thunderstorm. This lightning and thunder got close, causing the horses in the herd to scatter, including Taranis. When he stopped running he realised he had lost his family, which saddened his heart. He wandered alone for a long time, trying to find them. He still is trying to find them, however he is giving up hope. Part of him knows it may be time to start his own family, he’s just waiting to see what happens first.
