Here is a final snapshot from my trex project/animation. Its a little stylized but almost the same as in the animation..U can see the animtion in my reel here.. nothing fancy, trex just taking a little walk -> [link]

Man! That's realy nice! That skin shader looks far more real than in any dinosaur movie I've seen.

Awesome, the pose and textures of the tyrannosaur are very well made and look realistic. One point of criticism: it looks a bit like a 10-inch high t-rex. Might have to do with the sharp highlights (like plastic), or the rough texture of the ground, or the blur in the background. Can't totally put my finger on it.
Awesome model though, and the render is very well set up.

yes when u say it it really looks like a small one.. will perhaps create a more accurate render sometime.. i'm currently learning renderman and i discovered that it has some really impressive displacment approximations so i will test that out on my rex i think

That animation, by the way, is bloody perfect. The remaking of the physics make sure it's a big (at least 10 times bigger) t-rex. Well done!

Yeah, really nice work. I love it. Only one little thing bothers me in the animation: You can't really see the weight of the trex. In any other way it's an amazing work!

yes i think so to.. think i became self blind in the process so i missed that part.. had so many things to make and finish to deadline so i missed that part.. its a shame cause the animation is the really core thing.. thanks anyways

That is really nicely done, everything looks really nice and clean. I love the lighting and the animation. I'm jelous as I've been pulling my hair out today just from trying to paint the weights onto a simple humanoid character!

thank u zombryn.. yes but painting weights really suck and isn't so easy at it seams.. was pretty inflamed myself when i painted this basted..
