This is my brand new OC baby!
I'm still working on details about him but what I have so far:

His name is Kiam. He's a native born on a planet called E'oanverchk,
a planet long enslaved by a larger planet's more militaristic driven
race. The E'oanians have a special retractable spike in their wrists that
secretes a clear gel that has incredible healing properties, something
the larger race harvests.

There's been one single treaty in place between the two races to keep
the other race (called Uaoaks) from full our slaughtering all E'oanians for
this healing gel: an agreement for sacrifices every 3 years.

A random drawing from the planet's census picks 153 sacrifices that are
given over to the Uaoaks and drained of this gel. Sacrifice the good of a
few for the good of many.

E'oanians are assigned 'life mates' at birth. at eleven years old, Kiam's
life mate was chosen as one of these sacrifices. In a desperate attempt
to save them, Kiam attacked the planet's high ruler, barely failing in killing
them. Most would have been killed, but he was family of a nobleman and
was spared, though exiled from the planet for the rest of his life and branded
with the universal mark of a traitor (the tattoo below his eye)

*ahem* so yeahhh It's a WIP but I'm weak for exploring ideas of new and
different alien races in this universe
