*Sanga And Tyriq are dungeon crawling through the palace catacombs.*

Tyriq “I mustnt panic...I mustn’t panic. I’m a big, brave Nahaki...I mustn’t panic.”

Sanga “This is where that gepsi told us we would find passage to the sage. But this is the end of the catacombs. There’s no record of anything built or dug under here.”

Tyriq “Okay...So now what?”

Sanga “The gepsi we caught said no man or woman of any kingdom dug the way down to the sage. But the way is dug...and it begins where the catacombs end...ugh! What did that hooded brat mean? Speaking in riddles. If he’s going to spill his guts out before being executed he might as well speak it plainly.”

Tyriq “but you didn’t execute him, sanga. He turned into sand-“

Sanga *grabs his arm* “Captain. Listen...”

*there’s a scratchy growl from inside the catacombs*

Tyriq “wha-are those...”

Sanga “Seliphinks. Furless beasts with large red eyes who live in cool caves among the deserts.”

Tyriq “And they’re in the catacombs?”

Sanga “Not quite. It sounds like they’re coming from...under here.”

Tyriq *brings torch over to see* “under where?”

Sanga “underneath us!”

Tyriq “But there nothing underneath us but dead people! And the ground!”

Sanga “there must be more underneath us. Like a tunnel or cave going further down.” *
Starts digging with her glave* “And If I’m right, I want explanations to who dug it!”

Tyriq *Turns around several times on guard* “But the gepsi said no one dug anything. And yet the passage is there...? Wait...” *sees a strange curved stalactite.*

Tyriq “U-um...your highness?”

Sanga “I don’t care what your worried about. Help me look for that cave in the floor.”

Tyriq “Can a stalactite look like a fang? A giant big fang?”

sanga “there are no stalactites in these catacombs! Wait..a fang?” *turns and sees with him. then comes up closer.”

Sanga “That’s it Tyriq! This serpent burrowed up to these catacombs”

Tyriq “so it is a fang.”

sanga “The fang from a kohebreoth! Great reptiles who swam in these seas of sand for thousands of years!

Tyriq “those are extinct, right?”

sanga “they’re supposed to be.”

Tyriq “gyuhuh!”

Sanga “yes, they’re exciting, captain. Don’t you worry, you poor baby.”

Tyriq “uhhh...” *leans into her for emotional support. She pushes him away.”

Sanga “I was being facesious, Captain.”

*the floor suddenly tilts. as the skeleton jaw of the dead kohebreoth breaks off. The floor caves in and both sanga and Tyriq find themselves tumblin down the vertebrae of the enormous skeleton into a deep casm. Tyriq’s torch lands stuck in a crevice above. As they climb to their feet, both find themselves surrounded by a pack of seliphinks, glaring territorially at them. Tyriq pulls out his knife, thousand yard stare.*

Tyriq “I mustn’t panic...I mustnt...p-p-p-panic!”

Sanga “Captain, now would be the opportune moment for you to panic.”

Tyriq “Thats the beauty of me, your highness...I’m always panicking.”

*Battle ensues!*
