All those years, and the thing that get's my attention is that it's all of one subject matter. A well drawn subject to be sure, but still, I'd expect to see a little bit of deviation from the big girls in there.

Well, before '02, I'd draw all kinds of stuff. I have sketchbooks of non-big-girls and all that jazz. But it was prior to my being "Fett" and when I posted on Wreck's in '02, it was a couple of years after I'd decided that I wasn't going to be a professional artist, so drawing became only a hobby I did infrequently, and I did it only for "Fett". That's why there's nothing but that.
When I say, "I can't draw", I kinda mean it. I honestly wouldn't know where to begin to draw things like backgrounds and cars since it's been probably a decade since I even tried.
What would you want/expect to see from me?

would be nice to see the occasional desire to branch out, even if it's just a hobby, and even if it fails miserably. It's as if the big girls are the only motivating stimulus to draw, and that, in my opinion, is a sad thing.

Your's have been some of my favorite pieces of art for years now, and it was really interesting to see it all put together like you did. I've got a bunch of your stuff on my drive from various sites like Diana the Valkyrie. My faves are probably the two of Ness at Night and at Day, and your take on Lois Lane. Thanks for all the great art!

That's an interesting timeline. You can see the progression from someone trying very hard to emulate what he likes, to an artist who makes his influences serve him, and not the other way around.
Seems like sometime around 2006 or 2007 you realized that 'this Fett guy' is actually a pretty damn good artist in his own right.

Aw, how sweet even if you are 1000% wrong.
I still think I'm not a very good artist and I'm still aping the same influences I've always had.
All that's happened is that, by drawing a lot and by trying to solve elements of drawing I don't like, I've gotten just a bit better, is all.

Not really. Wreck Shop was really kind to me and gave me a coppermine gallery within in his website. It was called "Fettcom", and I think the domain name was part of it. I honestly can't remember if it was myself or Wreck who came up with the name. When I came to dA, "Fett" was taken, and I picked Fettcom which was stupid. I gave it no thought as I didn't think I'd ever use dA... but here I am. I wish I could change the name.
Unfortunately, while I had "Fettcom", I barely used it. :/

Well, the '03 and '04 pics weren't ever uploaded so you wouldn't have had them. I've just uploaded them to my scraps.
