Happy Birthday !It's Buddy's birthday and I was playing around and I thought, "Buddy likes Caitlin! I'll draw her!" and "Buddy is always asking to colour things." So I thought, "Hey, for I did the whole 'homework assignment' birthday thing!" I did it again, but I thought about Buddy's colouring style, and Buddy likes not to use the original lines. So I did a lot of pencil rendering so he can play with the lines as he wants.
Fun fact: I really, really, really, enjoy drawing Caitlin Fairchild.

Wow, really like this. The chalk effect on the board is so realistic.

All I did was write the text then in photoshop, selected the blackboard area and hit "invert" so the blacks become whites. I did the bare amount necessary to make it white writing.

Seriously. That easy. The rubbing out and the texture and the sketchy nature of the pencils make it look like chalk.

beautiful sketch! ms. fairchild's genial smile is so disarming... coupled with her relaxed, almost shy pose, it really adds a lot of substance to her birthday well-wishes for mr. busen.
fighting in the war room may not be allowed, but it looks like there's certainly going to be a party in the classroom!
