She hobbled outside to fetch her mail, but the apartment steps proved too slippery for her sock-clad foot and crutches.Now, along with her already bad sprain, she appears to have hurt her "good" leg!
Color version of earlier sketch, by the way. Say whatever you will about foreshortening, but worn socks are really, really difficult to texture!

I worry about coloring any bit of work I do (except those little drawings in the DS--those are much quicker-going). Glad it seemed to turn out okay.

If I had more to post, I would. The story here is just about the only one I wrote these past few years, and the drawings happen when they happen, I guess. There will be more, I think, just probably not really soon.
