Description Well, Drakken felt the need for some assistance, and went to Belgium to find a kindred soul, the megalomaniac evil scientist Zorglub; or Bulgroz. Since Z has a penchant for using backwards speech as a secret language, I'm not actually sure which is his name and which is his villainous nickname.

Z also likes blue, but since he is a bit more sophisticated, he usually settles for nice double-breasted suites.

Teaming up with Z also lets Drakken and Shego have the use of the Zorglumobile, the Zorglonde and other inventions. It also, unfortunately, brings in the opposition in the form of Spirou, Fantasio and Spip, and lets Ron use the Fantacopter.

Ah, well. This is perhaps not that great an idea for a crossover, as I'm not sure how well known Spirou is outside Europe. It is, however, one of the truly great Belgian comics, and its style owes a lot to the great AndrΓ© Franquin, creator of Gaston LaGaffe and the Marsupilami.

Kim and her friends are created by Schooley and McCorkle, designed by Stephen Silver and (c) by Disney. Spirou et al. are (c) editions Dupuis.

And maybe if this was a Fanfic or episode we get a karaoke bit with KP's theme an we get this fourth wall breaking exchange (If Wade or the count create translators):

Spirou: Why are we doing her song?🀨

Kim: Because we actually have a theme song 😌
*gets cut off*

Fantasio: So do we!😑

Kim: *she finishes * That actually happens to have lyrics. πŸ™„

Spirou and Fantasio: Oh...πŸ˜”

zorglub is more of a threat than Drakken, he actually have an army and secret bases

Yeah, but Drakken also has his secret lairs and a bunch of henchmen....

But I agree, Zorglub is a bit more serious!

This is a great idea. This will bring Spirou to the attention of a wider audience. I for one am going to check him out when I get a chance. It looks like a great TinTin like comic series.

I'm not sure it's been published in English, unfortunately... But it is one of the more popular rivals of Tintin, although in a rather different drawing style...

Well, it's a classic European comic, and Zorglub is a typical evil scientist, so I felt he'd make a good pal for Drakken...

Spirou and Fantasio meeting Kim Possible!! My, what a great crossover!!
Zorglub and Dr. Drakken seem to get along very well together... Well, at least until one of them realize to betray the other in order to dominate the world by himself.
Cool job!!

Spirou and Fantasio are somehow known, mainly in South America, where their animated series had been seen in HBO.

And here I am, never even having heard of a Marsupilami...

..Of course, I do recognize the early-model Citroen DS in the background...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

FeudorLaurent In reply to turbolover175 [2011-01-08 09:35:07 +0000 UTC]

Well, AndrΓ© Franquin was fascinated by modern design when he drew the comic in the sixites, and the DS features heavily in some of the books.

The Marsupilami even got a Disney produced animated cartoon that ran on Disney Channel, as well as a longer series of French episodes...

And as far as '60s post-modernism goes, the Citroen design studios were as cutting-edge as any artist in the top galleries...

Aw, I think I remember Marsupilami! I seem to recall a few commercials back in the day, when I was watching my standard lineup of Darkwing Duck and Talespin! I definitely never knew, however, that Marsupilami had a comet named after it...

FeudorLaurent In reply to turbolover175 [2011-01-09 09:26:14 +0000 UTC]

Well, the DS was really a groundbreaking design that also looked good!

Naming a comet for the Marsupilami makes kind of sense, 'cause of his extremely long tail..
