Woot for Rise of the Guardians! I'm so excited about this movie, I seriously can't wait for it to be released! And I sense Pitch is gonna be my favourite character, together with the Easter Bunny XDSo, this pic was inspired by a school assignment from primary school, where we had to choose one of our biggest fears and write a dialogue about it, ending up not fearing it anymore. Obviously, I choose the boogeyman (classic), but for me he was more a personification of darkness than fear. Anyway, I wanted to draw Pitch as the Boogeyman from my dialogue.
It was more or less like this. (Have mercy, I was like... 8 years old?)
"Who are you?"
"Don't gape like that while looking at me, little child. I'm the Boogeyman, and you should learn to show me some respect"
"I can't help it, it's not my fault if I'm afraid of you"
"Try to think about watching a movie at the cinema with the lights still on. Would you still enjoy it?"
"Well... No"
"And think about fireworks by day. They wouldn't be such a show, don't you think?"
"I guess you're right... Let's make peace then! Can you do any magic trick?"
"Of course I do. But now it's late: I'll be back tomorrow night. And don't forget to turn off the light".

Awwww, that dialogue is cute and beautiful and surprisingly deep for an 8 year old! You should make a version of this pic that has the dialogue on it, 'cause I totes want this as a computer desktop background for my younger cousin! ^^

Two things.
First, I haven't heard about that movie, so I looked for it, I watched the trailer.... and i just can say... I WANNA SEE IT!! NOW!!! Oh my god it looks amazing!!!!!!! 
Second, lovely tale! Boogeyman is rigth, we need it for nice things!^^ Do you know? It would be sooo great for a little ilustrated book for little children....

Yeah Brave.... She resembles another red-fluffy-haired girl which lives in a kingdom and tries to prove her worth as a knight I think. She has a fullgrown green dragon as her friend.... I don't remember the name of that series though
