Woot for Rise of the Guardians! I'm so excited about this movie, I seriously can't wait for it to be released! And I sense Pitch is gonna be my favourite character, together with the Easter Bunny XDSo, this pic was inspired by a school assignment from primary school, where we had to choose one of our biggest fears and write a dialogue about it, ending up not fearing it anymore. Obviously, I choose the boogeyman (classic), but for me he was more a personification of darkness than fear. Anyway, I wanted to draw Pitch as the Boogeyman from my dialogue.
It was more or less like this. (Have mercy, I was like... 8 years old?)
"Who are you?"
"Don't gape like that while looking at me, little child. I'm the Boogeyman, and you should learn to show me some respect"
"I can't help it, it's not my fault if I'm afraid of you"
"Try to think about watching a movie at the cinema with the lights still on. Would you still enjoy it?"
"Well... No"
"And think about fireworks by day. They wouldn't be such a show, don't you think?"
"I guess you're right... Let's make peace then! Can you do any magic trick?"
"Of course I do. But now it's late: I'll be back tomorrow night. And don't forget to turn off the light".

well, this is the next....
One night I was being sleeping, in my 5 years, and one dark voice had being calling me, telling my name, and I obeyed the voice, so I get up of my bed, and I met with the dark voice, so it was one dark creature, I think like one gargoyle, and my mother was in my dream, and my big brother too, and she has asked the dark creauture, 'who are you?' and the dark creature answered her 'I am Lucifer, the demon' and I think he had tell her too 'the master of the hell, the lord of the darkness, Satanas...' And then my mother, afraid like the hell she asked him again 'what do you want?' and he answered her 'I'll cath her....' And then he has being making as if he was to hurt to my father who was asleep in his bed, in front of the dinning room, where me and my mother and big brother were, and I tried to save his life, but Lucifer caught me with his right hand, and with his left hand, he had touched my forehead, and he was looking in this moment like darkness with tentacles, and I had seen his eyes, golding and watching me deeply, and then....I falled asleep, u.u

My greatest fear would have to be the dark as well, simply for the things I see in it, so this personification of the boogeyman as well as the conversation with him sits well with me. I'm sure you got an A for this clever bit.

I remember sleeping with a nightlight for years, but when I look back on it, I wasn't really afraid of the dark/the boogeyman/monsters in my closet or under the bed. I was more afraid of heights (mild fear) and of being afraid.
