I wanted so much to make that meme, but I didn't know what to choose... I'm in the mood for drawing dragons, so I decided to redraw my collection of dragon characters !
For this one, I used the same technic : I drew it first traditionally with a pencil and a paper. Then, I scan it and I do the lineart and colors digitally. But the main differences is that in my 2009 drawing, I painted it with Gimp and a mouse, and I've done the recent one with Photoshop and a tablet.
The other major difference is, of course, the style. When I've drawn the first one, I was an absolute fan of the french comic series "Les Légendaires" and my dragons where all done in this comic's style... And, to be honest, it doesn't look good on dragons ! On the newest one, I used pictures of fawns as reference because I picture Feusus as a doe-like dragoness, and Shadawm is her brother, so he is a fawn too !
One last thing : I removed the collars because it looked so cheesy and the story behind it was extremely cliche ! It was that chosen of light and chosen of darkness kind of story.
