Frak me this piece is kicking my butt..but I'm gonna kick his.. once i manage to draw it
So yeah.. this is the last WIP that'll be seen on the ol' commander before the final piece is posted.. think I mentioned trying to get him done by Monday.... um.. 3 months ago...
..yeah.. uphill battle..
So need to finish up the techno jumble in the back, some tactical bs, and of course, the butt that I really wanna kick.

I can only imagine how punishing it is to get all that detail down and *then* have to work out the shading and all on it, but it's paying off, even if it seems like it's paying off. I still like the semi-organic/techno feel of the pic.

He may be a pain in the butt... (which I can totally envision and completely sympathize with ya for.) but he's absolutely gorgeous! ... Really, awsome job on this one, makes me wish I played more with robotic-looking things. XD

It's coming along great! I absolutely love what you're doing with the shading.
The one thing I notice in this stage is his left hand, looks a bit small compared to the rest of him. But please excuse this if you already caught that
