Robert stood next to Canto amongst the chaos of horses and humans. Robert was so thankfull that the stallion happened to be so calm and collected. He looked over at a stallion who was being freaked out by a dog, the owner struggling to calm him down. Canto looked over, snorted, as if to say 'what a newbie' and continued glancing at the arena.
When Robert heard his and Canto's name being called out he nervously mounted the horse, who still was calm if only a bit anxious to start the workout. Robert didn't have to do much to get the horse into motion and they trotted into the dressage arena. In the middle of the arena Robert signaled Canto to stop and saluted the judges. They were ready.

*throws artwork out the window* I am no longer calling myself an artist. I wish I could draw or paint with half as much realism as you do.

This is beautiful. And Robert is very sexy
However, I feel that perhaps the shading on the neck and shoulder is slightly flat somehow? I think the legs and hind end seem much richer. but this is more a reflection on my preference than your skills. It is wonderfully executed as always

Canto looks so elegant and collected in this pic, and I love how in-tuned he seems to be to his rider. And Rob....omg x_x Rob is just dang sexy, that's all he is ;D Seriously, give me your human face painting skills....or just do a tutorial, maybe that would be better The shading...as always, has me staring in awe. I'm not sure how to explain it, but your colors always look very 'solid' and not like they're just overlapping one another, if that makes any sense whatsoever, which it probably doesn't
And you're always able to do a simplistic shading without overdoing it and making the picture look way too busy, which I always struggle with. Fantastic job on another inspiring pic ^^
