felt like trying out the grayscale technique, saves so much time not having to change/fix the colours constantly hahawill be moved to scraps soon, and yes I know it looks a bit crappy right noow
EDIT: head finished, body next!
EDIT2: failed at the body, erased it all and did the mane, attempt 2 next!
EDIT3: Higher contrast, shaded the mane!
EDIT4: Grayscale finished! Time for colour

I actually quite like grayscale works. This one (even though it's at its very early stages) looks beautiful so far. The horse itself is lovely (Arab?).

Thank you! Same here, working with grayscales is great when you can't decide what colour you want the piece to be in. It gives you the opportunity to try different options Not sure to be honest haha!

You're welcome! And that's very true. It's even nice to save it as different colors or even different layers of colors and decide from there. Also, I noticed that all your grayscaling is complete. Looks amazing!

Yes exactly, it was really nice getting the option to see it in different colours before choosing. Thanks a lot!

You can probably edit the colours in afterwards, too :3 I tend to cheat and colour some of my pencil drawings with photoshop..

Yeah, sometimes staying patient is really hard.. I take a lot of breaks and always listen to music and sometimes even watch tv at the same time to keep me sane haha
