I recently picked up a pair of horn ear hooks (6mm diameter) which i then decided to modify.(i just can't leave things alone
)I thought that pearls would be a nice feminine contrast against the insectile style of the hooks. I hung them from delicate gold wires to enhance the contrast.
appologies for the photo, it is rather difficult to get a good shot with only simple little point-and-clicks to choose from...
( I have since moved this into 'scraps', as i have updated it in my gallery...)

thats pretty bloody kewl! i don't know how you handle having a stretchy, i can barely handle my scaffolding. 5.5 years and STILL NOT HEALED! @_@

really?? that bites! I have had a couple of piercings that my body just DID NOT like, but i took them out at about the 18month to 2 year mark. Other than that, very few troubles with what i have.
My ears were actually stretched as part of training for a friend of mine. I figured; he needs people to learn on, and if it all goes wrong i can take it out, heal it up and try again... no drama.
Since then i have discovered that they only add to the fun i have wearing shiney things, and wouldn't change them for quids.
a Zinc supplement added to my diet just before and after (till the bottle runs out) new work seems to make a huge difference for me, it aids the body's healing process...
