It's been a looooong time since I've posted anything. Unfortunately last year I began having compatibility issues with the software I had been using, so I had to find a new program and learn how to use it. The background (including the desk and its contents) was made with the old program, and the characters were made with the new. This was my first time using vectors, and everything on the characters except for the stubble was done with vectors. It was a bit of a challenge, and fun to learn, but I think I'm going to have to find another pixel program for the colors and leave the vectors for the lines from now on.Anyway, these two are from Assassin's Creed: Syndicate. Jacob Frye is one of the two protagonists of the game, the other being his twin sister. At the very beginning of the game their mentor George gives them strict instructions that they aren't to go to London, then they turn around and do exactly that. There's a running joke throughout the game that when one twin is mad at the other, they threaten to go tell George on them. So, of course, in my mind a scene like this isn't exactly a stretch.

I hope you haven't lost too many. Then again, Deviantart in general feels dead to a lot of us these days. I've noticed a drastic drop in watchers/commenters on my own gallery since last year. So many people seem to have fallen off the Internet just within a few years' time.

Probably moving to other sites like tumblr. I think DeviantArt's gotten a bad reputation.

I think you're right about that. I've felt for a long time that a lot of artists have been moving to Tumblr and Patreon and probably even Twitter. It's sad. I know Deviantart isn't perfect by any means. A lot of things around here have changed since I first joined, and it feels like the admins don't care about us anymore. But I still prefer here over elsewhere, so I'm here to stay for the long-run. I would never upload my artwork to Tumblr because I feel it has an even worse reputation than here (I personally hate the place with a passion).

Yeah, I'll keep uploading to dA as long as it's still kicking. I'm not a huge fan of posting to tumblr either. I personally don't think it's set up in a nice format for sharing art and keeping track of your piece, and I think it's a lot easier to steal/re-post artwork there. Of course, you can do that on any site if you try hard enough, but tumblr seems like it's made for it.
As far as meeting people or sharing thoughts and ideas about things, though, it's not too bad.

I totally agree with everything you’ve said. 
But the reality of it all is if you upload your artwork anywhere online, there’s really no way around theft. You can take steps to cut it down, but you can’t stop it, like some people seem to believe they can do. It’s just a risk you have to expect due to the nature of the Internet itself and the fact there are people out there that simply don’t care either way. Some amount of theft is going to happen anywhere you go. Moving to different sites and trying to outrun it is pointless. The only way to fully protect yourself is just not upload your art online at all. And what’s the fun in that?
True, but I don’t like the atmosphere of the place. I’ve tried being on there before, and it’s just full of immature, rude, self-centered teens and tweens more than anything else, a majority of them openly bashing others that either have different opinions or like different fandoms/characters than they do. Not my ideal place to be on, tbh. Waaaay too much drama for my taste. And I’m beginning to feel the same way about Twitter. I rarely get on there anymore. I spend more time on my private Facebook account these days since friends and family are the only ones allowed there.
