PLEASE FULL VIEW!!!This is a pic from my story Tears. I drew it for the posting of the fic here on DA. To know more about the story behind the pic, read the story! [link]
Anyway, more about the drawing itself:
K, I just HAD to name it 'Vlad hugging DANIEL' cause the story is in 1st person pov of Vlad so
Besides, it's fun to call him Daniel. I'm starting to think Vlad does it only because of that too. Heh 
*Gasp* Is- is that what I think it is? Yes! Yes it is! It's a- a background!!! Is this a new trend for me? Very possibly yes! (Well, hopefully at least). Anyway, drew this and coloured it by hand with pencil crayons. Had to reference Vlad and the background for this one. Oh, and the gauntlets. This is the first time I've drawn future Vlad so... couldn't remember all the detail on him. As for the gauntlets, I found out they actually change within the episode itself. Heh, who knew? Those circular things become half circles... heh, oh well. There WAS 10 years in between, so maybe he changed them
(Though considering they were somewhere in storage, I kinda doubt it) Oh well...Anyway, Hope you like it! Please tell me what you think! It turned out a lot better than I originally planned so... heh

Very nice. You hit the Hartman style of art spot on. You've hit the emotion well, it is very readable and sympathic. I'll have to keep on eye on your work, and read that fan-fic. Great job.

Background?....Yipee!!! Heh, I don't even know what the term background means.....wait, does white count? What a touching picture! It matches perfectly with your story...I can see all the emotion in Vlad's face, so moving.

Hee, thank you! Glad it looks good! I'm trying to stick with backgrounds as much as possible now. In the long run, it'll improve all areas of my drawing skills I'm sure. And I so desperately need to work on perspective....
