Erm... title from a quote my coach always had in his email messages:"A people without history is like wind on the buffalo grass."
It has nothing to do with the pic though

Ooh! I love this style. It gives them a whole new look, really it does. Makes you wonder what DP would have really looked in anime/manga style. That would be an interesting look... Anyway, off topic. Great job! I love it, I love it, I love it!

Thanks! Heh, I actually picture the characters in anime style when I think up scenerios or stories. It's hard for me to think up stories with them as the character designs they are in the show just because I got my designs for them as anime characters down and that's what my mind automatically think of. I dunno, probably because of my love for anime growing up for so many years. And I like it because the characters' bodies are more realistic than those in the actual show. Anyway, now I'm really off topic too

though, the background coulda used a bit more time and detail... but still, great job on the characters!

Thanks! I actually like simplicity of the background. I dunno, it didn't pick up too well with the scanner, but on paper, the sky actually looks more like broken stained glass. The grass, I was trying to get the movement of the wind, didn't really work too well though. Oh well, the only way to improve is with trying new things and practicing. Thanks very much for the comment!
