Just a concept or a situation I've had in mind or may do more with. Basically just being in a tight spot or finding yourself actually aiming to get the attention of something big. Of course, it can be risky, especially if it's not one you're familiar with but again, desperate measures. Maybe trying to get a lift closer to civilization or a safe place for a night or two or whatever.
