Description
So it turns out that when Atala (Eurmaeus atala) has just emerged from its pupa its fairly inclined to open its wings with alittle...help. So here we have it, the inside of a male Atala Hairstreak, though granted its only the forwings, the trade off with the trick is you can't see all for wings but at least you get to see the colorful part. lol, I didn't do anything bad to it, it was a trick I picked up at a buutterfly farm in Orlando and it is the only way to get this shot without forcing or killing it
