They still look good compared with the last traincar left in my town:the wooden parts are missing, so it's just a skeleton with wheels covered in weed.

I hope they will be restored.They plan to rebuild an abandoned depot as a railroad museum in the town where I go trainspotting.

I heard that un UK you still preserve steamers and ocasionally put them on nostalgic trains.Not far from my town, we got a depot where they preserve 3 steamers (you could find pictures of them in my gallery) including the first rack locomotive thefarcaspaul.deviantart.com/a… which was built for a special rack railroad, Subcetate-Boutari-Caransebes (tracks are missing except first 20km).Sadly, only two of them are left.I remember that when I went to the depot to take pictures of the rack locomotive, a train drive told me to look underneath to see the rack

Thanks!I got more pictures of those locomotives, and if they move them to Subcetate, I'll try catching up with the convoy and take pictures on it's way there:3 locomotives, which might be connected at the end of a frieght train going downhill, and I have to keep next to it at the same speed with a bicycle.Good thing I could reach speeds up to 60km in that part of the road
