Description
Just a little project I've been working on for the better part of the last week. This is a turned-based boxing sim written in Python. It's not particularly complex or interesting but does allow you to add your own boxers.Mainly wanted to see what it would Β take to write a very simple program that (vaguely) resembles a game. Now that I've got that done, I'm going to focus my efforts on a different project based in Unity (which should hopefully result in something more fun and easier to play/install than this).

does it have to be 2.7.9? I have a 2.7.11 version and it won't let me open the game

I haven't tested it in 2.7.11 but I believe 2.7.9 is required since that's the highest 2.x version of Python that is supported by Pygame.

I may do a video but not in the near future. This project was something I hammered out really quick and put up in case anyone was interested.
Was there a specific step you got stuck on? Maybe I can give you some help with that particular step. Are you on PC or Mac?

I don't see the zip file being shown near the pic and when I clicked on ZIP on the linked website, it sent me back here. Β I need help. Β

Okay, I was able to download the zip file but now I'm having trouble opening the program. Β I followed the instructions and typed in the command on my window prompt correctly but nothing happened. Β

If you installed Python and Pygame, you might have to add Python to your path. If installing Python made IDLE your default program for all .py files you might be able to double-click on the mainMenu.py file and run it that way.
