Finally got this done. You can thank Dark Souls 2, Child of Light, and South Park: The Stick of Truth for stalling me.So I'm actually going to make two games. The first one will just be sort of like a boss rush. A party of three against one strong enemy. And the game I make after that will have you fighting multiple enemies at a time.
Anyways, I'm pretty sure that this demo is still GLITCHY AS HELL. That's where you come in my guinea pigs. Play around with it as much as you want! And mention in the comments sections if something doesn't look right or if animations play funny or at the wrong times. But some animations WILL lag, jus so u know.
And the Dark Souls Mushroom enemy is sticking around for the demo btw.
List of stuffs that need testing:
- Make sure that dead characters can't be healed or make a move until they're revived.
- Make sure dead characters don't play any of their "I'm still alive!" animations randomly
- Spells and items shouldn't work unless you have the necessary amount of MP/ items.
- The enemy is WEAK to FIRE, and DARK. And RESISTANT to HOLY, and LIGHTNING. So check element power boosts.
Stuff to keep in mind:
- No victory or game over scenes for this demo
- The game will glitch out of all characters die or the enemy is killed
- I haven't made limit breaks yet, so the red bar still serves no purpose
- Red buttons on the top left of the screen set character's HP to one for a quicker death test
- The other colored buttons on the left add HP (Green), MP (Blue), and number of items (Yellow)
- The gray button on the right adds HP to the enemy to keep playing
Who knows how long I'll put off finishing the rest of the game...
I'm also debating whether I should release one more demo before finishing...

Resistances work pretty well!
But when Petra gets revived with a Jamba Juice from Brian (NICE death and revival animations by the way) she loops her revival animation over and over until it's her turn again? Also Nataly plays an item catching animation simultaneously. Don't know if that's right.
Beef jerky makes the wait bar glitch out if i use it on a character other than the one whose turn it is
After a while Brian would start doing his entire list of special attacks if I initiated one. AWESOME but game breaking. Limit Break idea, maybe?
Same with the normal attacks too.
This game is still freaking cool though! All of the things you were looking out for work fine, just some minor glitches here and there.

Ha ha! I knew it! Lemme cover this in order...
I've never encountered Petra continuing to loop her revival animation. So I'll have to carefully look into that one. But I discovered that some characters will play their item catching animations randomly during revives. So I'll be working on fixing that.
I dunno what kinda glitch you encountered with beef jerky. But it's supposed to make wait bars deplete faster, and in some cases the bars will get bigger but still hold the same amount of waiting time.Β I should probably make that more clear in the item description anyways.
About Brian, he usually goes through all his abilities if the enemy's HP reaches zero, as many thnings will start glitching out at that point. It's why I added the gray button that heals the enemy (cuz I was too lazy to make a victory scene). If it happens besides that then... Β then... hmm.
Anyways, thank you for the feedback my friend. I might release one more demo showing off the limit breaks as well as having victory and game over scenes... maybe...

Why do we start out with no Mp? Most games starts out with full. :-/

If you remember my last demo, I said that you start with no MP and that regular attacks gain you certain amounts of MP. And there's always items for that too.
C'mon, I'm not making my games THAT easy.
