Description
EDIT 2/23/07 I redid this, knowing a ton more about PS than when I did it the first time. I think it's a lot better now, because you can see the brighter colors of the original Bryce render, where before the yellow wall in the photo of the drop spindle was dulling it a bit. What do you guys think?I thought there was a fanart category, but I couldn't find it for some reaon. Anyways, this is supposed to be Sandry's thread-loop from Tamora Pierce's Circle of Magic/Circle Opens/Circle Reforged books. It was the first thread she ever spun, and had four lumps in it. The four foster-siblings each put their mark on one of them.

I just love Circle of Magic and all the rest of the books about Sandry, Tris, Daja and Briar, and this is really good. But isn't Sandry's lump golden-white, the color of undied thread iin the book?
Go Tris!

RC, I think you might want to tell everyone what a drop spindle is, Lol. I think the only reason I know what it is is prolonged exposure to you and your family.

Well, if people have read the books, they'll know what it is. If they haven't, then none of the picture will really make sense anyway...

An explanation to the poor fools who haven't read it would still be good, though.
Oh well, it's your deviation, do whatcha want.

One thing I've always found odd about the thread circle is that it's two feet long, it really doesn't sound(that doesn't make sense...) that way in the books. On a less random note, I love the picture.
