What if there was a technology that allowed the user to see anywhere in the world in real time? Jinora was capable of something like this already in LOK, so maybe is not that far fetched.
The power source is probably spirit vines (hence the greenish glow).

Chapter 1 is coming out on october 1st, though it's going to be in Spanish, my native language, at least for now... We'll see about the translation later. Sorry about that.
