Some examples of hands I have drawn in recent times, I've been practicing anatomy the most lately so I can be confident that my future drawings will look right. Although I have a long way to go to develop my "art style" when drawing hands, I can say i've come a long way from hiding my character's hands behind their back or drawing the notorious mitten hands/crab claws. The bottom two hands were free drawn based on pictures of my own hand, the top one I traced a reference first to get the feel of it and then drew it separately.
