OMJ, have you seen the back stairwell at school? It's a freaking ladybug playground at this point- all the orange fuzz on the windows? Pretty darn sure those are lady bug eggs.

eeeuahawha! *shivers* I know theyre everywhere! OMJ Mr bergman's room- on the window sill in like september, and now he's started doing it again, little piles of ladybug corpses. He sweeps them all into a pile and we had a funeral before thanksgiving break. mmmm fun

Haha, don't be wasteful- eat them instead! jk, jk, I'd have a phobic little coniption if anybody ate a bug in front of me when we weren't like, stuck in the wilderness or something

I wouldn't die, but I might dare them to eat more And then get dared in return as middle school maturity goes, and then regret it all *sighs heavily and dramatically*

True, very true I mean, we ARE more mature I guess, but we don't like acting that way all of the time.

I prefer the term "humanities child" or because the state has ordered ANOTHER name change for legal reasons, LAG. *facepalm* I think this is their worst one yet.

First we were mentally gifted, then they abbreviated that to MG, then they cut that to plain old Gifted, and for about 2 months in around 3rd grade we were IG's (Identified Gifted students), and then they went back to Gifted, then they said that wasn't technically a language arts class, so we had to go to Humanities, and then they said our teachers weren't certified to teach that because "it's different" so we were Gifted8 for a bit, and now we're LAG for Language Arts Gifted. But it sounds like they're trying to imply we're lagging behind the "grade level" kids.

...Which is true because we're so concentration-challenged (or ADD, depends what you want to call it ) we rarely get through lessons, and we hardly ever do actual like GRAMMAR type lessons to begin with, but that's okay because we're the "gifted" kids, and we know enough about grammar-y whats-its to deal with school without extra classes on it

Sorry bout the rant there, but it's driving me CRAZY! WHy can't they just pick a name for us and SETTLE on it for crap's sake?! Every few months it changes- now they're just being picky
