More studies of reptiles, snakes this time! I really like how that rightmost snake turned out. As a reminder to myself: I filled all scales on his cheek with the same value, then used a kneaded eraser to create the highlight on it. Worked like a charm. Remember that, Fiddlemoose!After these snakes I'm moving on to study some photo's of wings and feathers, the other part of me making a feathered reptile.

Yeah about it being helpful - I've found that national geographic magazines are a big help (with exotic animals), as well as visiting the zoo. Those are some sources which helped me out.
