Well, now that the Anyu is finally being polled over on subeta, I can post this!This was my first attempt at revamping the anyu. I was going for a much more polar bear styled character, much older and realistic looking. It was rejected, however, as being too different from the current anyu (or old anyu, depending on whether my newer redraw goes through)
Never the less, I really liked it, as did a lot of the other artists! So I had to post it

I think I could have been tempted with an Anyu if this was the revamp XD I love the one we have, but this more realistic one is more up my alley.

Well luckily, they're both my versions xD I'll always love this big guy though! But I expect he would have been very difficult to fit into the canvas in all the redraw colours!

I like the idea of this one; with the Anyu and the Chai subeta has two cute teddy bears already, having one be more like a real bear wouldn't have hurt.

No offense, Rah, but I greatly dislike the anyu being polled right now.
This, however, is AMAZING. I love that it doesn't look like a Chai or a Clawsion (something the current proposal does -really badly-). I love the anatomical structure and the maturity of the pet, as well as the expression, which isn't the sickly-sweet dopey expression on the original revamp poll.
Overall, this is just fantastic and I wish we were getting this instead of what we're going to get.

I very much like those eyes, so much softer giving the anyu a wiser look. I might of considered making one of my pets one if it had gone through. Oh well, at least we get to admire it here! :3

I'm not an Anyu owner, nor never really liked them, but I have to say I really REALLY like this version, so much more so than your current more cutesy version. Sure there are anatomy issues. But I guess the reason I like it..it's less cutesy and more mature looking. What a shame, it would've added some variety to the current slew of cute pets.

Seriously, this is just...WOW.
I love polar bears, and the anyu suits this oh-so-muchly. I love the more pronounced facial markings, it brings out a sense of tribalness, a clan perhaps? I'm a real sucker for that X3
You want my honest opinion? Anyus whould be this version. No question.

e.e; I like this MUCH better than the re-do... though the re-do is an improvement over the orrigional. >.>; I would'a liked to have an older, more mature pet. We have too many with fuzzies and cute faces..

This is absolutely fantastic! Although I guess the head isn't as round as the current Anyu, I certainly prefer this one! Did you draw the one in the poll, may I ask?

Oh ok, well congratulations, they're both beautiful! The one in the poll is more anyu-styled, and I guess more suitable, whereas this one is simply incredible, and a lot more realistic compared to a polar bear. Although anyu's aren't real, so I guess that's the point!
