I was referencing lemur anatomy when drawing this guys back legs, as I originally had them facing forwards and it didn't look quite right. I learnt that they tend to splay their legs out to the sides quite a bit - their skeletons certainly have them in this way, so I translated that posture to the manchu.Was kind of going for an acrobatic/handstand thing with this guy. I like how his colours and markings came out - I'm pretty happy with him, even though the manchu isn't the most popular of pets! I got the colouring/shading to the level I wanted at least!

Oh man, I reaallly like this Manchu. It looks so lovely being all white. ;o; I love how dynamic the pose is, and the face/ears came out REALLY pretty on this one. Not to mention that gorgeous tail. @___@
The shading on its ruff makes it look so soft, aggh. I'm really debating with myself over whether to change my Chibi to this, though before I decide for sure I've got to stop procrastinating and redesign her with a custom look (STOP PUTTING THAT OFF, SAGA).
