Description

so, I decided to try drawing werehog Shadow again, but it ah, didn't quite go according to plan...

So, this started out as the Hedgeswap version of Sonic Unleashed, as I intended to draw Shadow and the swap for Chip, but then I ended up getting carried away...

To put it simply, I started drawing a werehog, but then I thought "hmm. the werehog exists because its someone corrupted by dark gaia's energy, so shouldn't that mean the werehog should look more like one of dark gaia's minions?" so then I began to mess with his stripes, and then I thought "hmm. idk what to do with the feet and hands. lets add in some black arms stuff" and eventually I ended up with this... XD

he's not so much a werehog anymore, since he doesn't look very... werewolf-y. its more like someone decided to throw a hedgehog, black arms, and dark gaia minion in a blender and this was the result... XD

also, I've started drawing his inhibitor rings differently. I base most of my art and color choices on Sonic Adventure 2, so when I was replaying it and realised that his inhibitor rings weren't actually solid metal and had flaps and such, kinda like a slap bracelet, I thought "oh. ok. that actually makes sense. gonna start drawing it like that now."

(at least now you can tell how the heck he can take them off... XD)

but yeah, this is what I was doing at 4 AM last night XD
