He ask me for a scenery with his OC struggling with "a cruel task. He is standing on all fours, his wings extended and holding up a heavy piece of lumber."
I have to admit the feeling of weigh is always a very hard thing to represent in drawing in my opinion. It was quite enjoyable to work on this one here so.

To be fair, ponies can lift extreme weights (even Twilight at one point carried TOM on her back, which was around 1.5 tons of weight).
I think this piece of lumber must be attached from both sides to something really heavy, and he tries to keep it stabile or something.
