Amazing. How did you achieve the watery effect if I may ask? I am new to Apophysis, I followed her tutorial as well. Any tips welcome

sorry, for such late reply - I was not on dA often ss
the water effect is just bubble , and a very lucky gradient - which works looking like liquid

No worries. I'm so very new to Apo that I cannot make anything look even half as cool as you, I don't know how you do it. I seriously cannot figure it out. I followed the tutorials to make the 3d blooms and I cannot even get it to look like the tutorial. Haha. It's sad because I'm usually artistically inclined but nope.. not this time.

Good luck and enjoy also don't be shy, zoom-in on that bloom and pick lighter colors for render, you will see more details

I'm pleased with the bloom itself but I'm not satisfied with the gradient yet, lol I've rendered it six times now and then I trash it. -.- once I get it right I'll upload it and link it to you.

Forgive my noob-like question but how do you preview? I mean aside from the fuzzy window that you can always view the art in.

In the main bar in apo at top - there is a preview setting- it's usually set to 10 or 15 as a default, before you render
your fractal, if you not sure how certain things will show - you can preview at higher resolution like 500 or 1,000 (just click the pull-arrow)
that is a quick generated preview, it takes from 6min to 2min to regen the fractal live on your screen
This is NOT a render - but it gives you an idea , how some things will look when they rendering
