There are two type of people: first one are people that don't know what is a fractal. And another one are people who knows that there are two type of people: first one are people that don't know what is a fractal and another one are people who knows that there are two type of people: first one are people that don't know what is a fractal...

Dear Fiery-Fire,
I am a huge fan of the Solaris book. It is one of the most breathtaking books I have ever read. When I found out that there was a movie, I was ecstatic. Unfortunately the Russian movie lacked special effects and was entirely philosophical in nature, while the American one was not a movie about Solaris, but about George Clooney. I hungered for some other human being's visualization of the Symmetriads and various Solaris phenomena until the day that I discovered your work.
It is breathtaking. It fills me with inspiration, when I look at your artwork and recall passages from the book. I can only wish that there will be a third movie with someone like you to take care of the special effects. Godspeed!

i had a lem feeling before...
the german title of the book is "fiasko" in which i also liked lem's description of a strange far away planet and the life on it...

a bit mysterious and... do you know this?

ahh..yes the animusic videos and music as well are always fun
for some reason that doesn't trigger Stanislaw Lem for me, but yes they are really good

i don't know the english title, could be "star diaries" - literally translation from german... the stories of ijon tichy... there is one in which he lands on a planet with robots being the only religious "people"... they show him around - and there is one scene where he witnesses a man go into a lone house... he is being cut up to pieces by machines and then put together again to go on living... creepy... this was what triggered me at "animusic"...

yes, when i heard about a movie "solaris" i thought: how the hell are they gonna show this planet?!? i saw the movie and found it good (except the fake "happy end" which is abslolutely "anti lem" in my opinion) - but they sort of shipped around this task...
now, here at last someone who takes the effort and combines mandlebulb with other media - and there we are - "solaris"...
absolute bravo!!!
belated congrats to this well deserved DD... (which i missed somehow)

well, the ending in the book is not as clear neither - he gets absorbed by Solaris,
which can mean anything - he dies, he dies but his spirit lives, or simply that
the whole encounter was a dream

He is one of the best polish sci-fi authors, I read most
of his novels, and have a lot of his books as well

i find him one of the best sci-fi authors i know... i read very many books, but don't have them myself...
i think my faves are the "star diaries" and hmmm, in english it must be something like "his master's voice"? they find a signal in the cosmic noises... and try to understand it - they do - a little, but in the end they realize they don't really... i found this one of his best at all...

well the formulas, which are coming in are at
default settings - you need to research what
makes different shapes

How do I research them ? I mean like I use the follow me parameter then I would choose something like the bulbox or something is that what you mean ? And then play with the numbers ?
