The monstrous Mandlebrot set was proven to be connected. this means that any app. isolated islands are connected by filaments however microscopic.
A Julia set of a mandlebrot point is connected, but one of a point not in the set,is dis-continious.
A' = A^2 + A + C (C is a number in the complex set)...
