’s Anime Sisters cap is another old favorite of mine. It’s a fun enough story, one that feels pretty complete given its length—but the presentation leaves a lot to be desired. The primary issue being, half the story is in the description. I get why this was done, since the existing cap already has a little too much horizontal space, but it still isn’t a great way to experience the whole thing.

So, much like I did with WholesomeWombat’s Sweet Despair , I decided to give this cap a Fiery-styled facelift. I had to get real creative with the formatting on this one: to keep things readable on both desktop and mobile, I took a few cues from TSF-Coffee’s A Cosplay of Nino Nakano and split the story into two vertical chunks. I didn’t bother with spaced-out paragraphs this time, either; instead, I substituted with indentions and colored dialogue, all the better to break up the visual monotony.

I also had to manually track down a high-quality version of the source image. Wasn’t the most fun thing I’ve ever done. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but thank god for Google Lens; I have no idea what I would’ve done here without it.

There are a lot of caps on this site that struggle with readability, and I really wanted to make sure that this one didn't suffer from the same fate. After all, what’s the point in writing a story if literally no one can read it without zooming in a thousand-fold and squinting? In the end, though, I think it came out just right.

Also like last time, I’m also uploading this cap as a standalone literature piece instead of just adding the text to the description. I don’t think people want to have to scroll through a description that’s 1.4k words long, and that’s something I can respect.

Apologies about the lack of regular posts, by the way. I’ve been in something of a slump lately. Hopefully, it’ll end soon.
